Fabriam is the new name for a diversified range of activities previously carried out by NEMI. These activities relate to the support and promotion of technology firms in three interlinked business areas being:
- the design, construction and management of world class business centres with an emphasis on technology companies
- the design and management of higher level and often complex workforce development programmes for industry
- the provision of high end physical broadband together with networks related to people, firms and the collaborative connections between them
