EMAX Growth

GROWTH ON TYNESIDE FOR FABRIAM CONTACT CENTRE SPECIALISTS

22 September 2008
EMAX Outsourcing, a third party provider of call centre services, has just moved into new premises on Tyneside.

The company outgrew their current facilities and has now taken on one floor in the Cobalt Business Exchange, which will allow EMAX to further grow their contact centre operation.

EMAX co-founder Paul McFarling said: "Two years ago we visited a company here in the Fabriam Centre and were immediately impressed by the facilities. We immediately relocated our HR and finance department for our UK operation. Just a few months later, we were asked by some of our consultancy clients to run a contact centre operation on their behalf. Again Fabriam had the perfect solution nearby and we set up our first 50-seat call centre in the Centre for Advanced Industry."

Since then EMAX has grown continuously through new contract wins and have now outgrown their premises at the Centre for Advanced Industry.

Last month EMAX took over a whole floor in the Cobalt Business Exchange building a 130 seat centre, with HR and finance remaining at the Fabriam Centre.

Paul added: "We are also hoping to take on another floor in this building in the near future, creating another 180 seats for agents here in North Tyneside."

John Williams, general manager of Fabriam, said: "When EMAX first moved into the Fabriam Centre, they only had two members of staff in the North East. Now their operation has 120 people and growing. Fabriam can offer tenants prestigious premises from one person up to 100 people. And if they outgrow this, there are other premises, like the Cobalt Business Exchange, nearby."
