RAPID COMPANY GROWTH FOR NEW SKILLS CONSULTING

Only one year after the company launch, New Skills Consulting has tripled its office space and moved into larger premises at the Centre for Advanced Industry (CAI) in North Shields.
The company initially started with just one consultant based at the CAI, but has now made room for the current team of five, with two more consultants planned within the year.
Company director Peter Graham was upbeat, saying: "Our strength is our consultants - each a specialist in their field. This specialist knowledge, coupled with our practical approach, has ensured our continued success and expansion."
New Skills Consulting has exploited the unique blend of skills of its staff and gone from strength to strength. They provide services to both the private and public sector in areas such as project management, research and funding. The company recently secured a major contract from the Learning and Skills Council, which aims to help the area's further education colleges forge links with local companies in the engineering sector.
Peter added: "Moving to larger offices at CAI was a natural progression. We wouldn't have considered moving anywhere else and the staff of NEMI have proved invaluable in helping the whole move run smoothly."
