Fast growing management consultancy, Smiths Consulting has chosen the Fabriam Centre in North Tyneside as their worldwide headquarters.
Since its set up in 2004, Smiths Consulting has seen massive growth of over 80% each year. The company currently employs 37 staff and had a turnover last year of £5.2 million.
The privately owned company was set up by four former SAP consultants, including Calum Bennett and Stephen Lee, who are both from the North East.
Calum said: "As we live in the region, we were looking for premises here that were presentable and customer facing. We were told about the Fabriam Centre, which we found to be excellent from the word go. Its prestige location, flexibility of lease term and affordable rates were exactly what we were looking for. For a company that wants to grow, the Fabriam Centre is the ideal base."
Smiths Consulting's team of Enterprise Resource Planning experts specialises in Business Change Programmes using third party products such as SAP and Oracle. The consultancy's main focus is providing governance and senior technical consultants to clients who have an established internal competency centre or internal consulting team to support their pan-European or global business operations.
Currently Smiths Consulting works for clients across the UK and in France, Germany and India.
Calum added: "We have already established a track record with clients in the UK, Europe and Asia and foresee growth for the company. This will also mean that we will have to expand our office premises here at the Fabriam Centre."
