FABRIAM BECOMES HUB FOR TELECOM SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
13 February 2007
The Fabriam Centre is fast becoming a hub for leading edge telecommunications software development.
Already three companies have chosen the high-tech centre, with many more enquiries from potential European tenants.
Call centre specialists EMAX, software and systems house itCampus and TrackaPhone have found the centre ideal for research and development as well as business development.
John Williams of NEMI, who manage the Fabriam Centre, said: "Our aim is to develop complementary networks of leading technology firms serving the IT, telecommunications and call centre market. SMEs based in the Fabriam Centre are encouraged to work together and exchange knowledge, which is particularly useful for new companies and also for inward investors."
Thomas Beer of German owned itCampus added:"We work with EMAX now in the UK, but are also interested in developing links with TrackaPhone. There are many other companies in the centre that we can learn from and work together, which is particularly important when you are from outside the North East."
