AWARD WINNING COMPANY SETTLES IN FABRIAM
15 January 2007
TrackaPhone has now settled into the Fabriam Centre in North Tyneside and plans to use the region's premier venue for the company's next security conference.
The North East company initially chose the technology business centre as its head office for product development and sales and marketing. TrackaPhone has now decided to use the Fabriam Centre also as the venue for the next TAPEX conference.
Phil Derry, managing director of TrackaPhone said: "This week TAPEX will take place in London and be attended by over 120 people from government, the police force, MoD and large corporate organisations. The world-class facilities here lend themselves for us to organise the next event right here in the North East."
TrackaPhone uses mobile telecommunication networks and GPS technology for its lone worker protection system, asset protection and recovery systems. These are used by organisations of all sizes. They have a responsibility to protect their staff, in particular when working alone, but there are also increased requirements from the legislator and insurance sector.
Phil added: "The Fabriam Centre provides us with good communications infrastructure, security and is in an idea location. It also allows us to expand due to flexible office space and we can confidently organise top quality events here."
TrackaPhone have been awarded with various accolades, including 'One to Watch in Top 50', UKTI's 'Best of British' North of England Regional Winner.
